The farmhouse is located along the main road leading to the quaint village of Montecarlo. The complex is perfectly situated for relaxing and for touring Tuscany. It includes an area of 13 hectares, dotted with vineyards, olive groves and the old establishment of the farm. The estate is easy to reach from the A11 motorway Firenze Mare. Exit the A11 at Altopascio and follow directions to the village of Montecarlo which lies 15 kilometres away from Lucca and Montecatini Terme, 30 km from Pisa and 60 km from Florence. Borgo La Torre is close by the coastal resort of Versilia and is also surrounded by several villages of the Garfagnana region as well as the ancient villas of the Lucca area and the renowned Pinocchio amusement park, the Butterfly House and the historical Villa Garzoni with the Italian-style garden. Our estate sits in a panoramic location at the foot of the medieval walls of the quaint hamlet of Montecarlo. The space arrangement, with the furniture and finishing, the welcoming by a young dynamic staff let your stay become a true holiday. We are looking forward to welcoming you so, that you can fully enjoy the stay with us, even if you are in Montecarlo for business, sipping a glass of excellent wine on the panoramic terrace, tasting traditional local dishes in the restaurant, or lying in the sun near the pools. Our beautiful wide open countryside is the perfect setting to read and relax. The 18×8 metre swimming-pool, cleaned with a chlorine free, environmentally friendly filter system, as well as the smaller Jacuzzi hydro massage heated pool, are surrounded by a furnished sun terrace with extensive views. Our facilities also include a barbecue area pic-nic area, a children’s playground and a laundry room. Guests can enjoy long walks along the vineyards or the woods nearby. Wine tasting sessions, guided tours of the wine cellar, horse riding, yoga lessons, romantic/relaxing massages in the room, drawing lesson, business dinners as well as cooking courses can be booked. You can visit us all year, following the different colours of the seasons, the fascinating change of the landscape around us, with the grape harvest in September, the oil harvest in November. |
